Anna, Schmidt & Oskar (Der Frosch zog Hemd und Hose an)

A bit off-topic. This is an early 1990s German course (German as second laguage for kids) being aired Sundays on channel ARD alpha. I like it and watching it over and over again. There is an older teen girl Anna (on left), her younger brother Andreas (10 yo in early episodes, pictured, other episode, also in yellow pants in final episode) and his friends (boys and girls, including handsome Frank, best in ep Spiele, Essen, Trinken).

WDR editor is Lothar Humburg ("Moving to Marlborough") Author is Barbara Derkow-Disselbeck (I have several English posts with her).

In episode "Hose, Jacke, Rock und Hemd" there's the German version of "Frog Went a-Courting" it's Der Frosch zog Hemd und Hose an, aha!. Text by Frederik Vahle. Animated clip, similar like in Playtime. Performed also elsewhere by child choir Blankenlocher Pfinzspatzen (and maybe others). The series usually show German culture but this song isn't originally German.

Update: Five times Britain

I now found a clip of that series, again by Rosa Mannen on YouTube. Aired on SVT on April 11th 1988 (but series is older, at least 1979). Teen boys and girls in school and gym/ballet including green shorts. Most are girls. Probably ep 1 A Stage School.

Plot (short):  A six-level primary course for kids. I think also called We are Heroes (outside Spain ?). Used at least in Spain and Argentina. Pic taken from official YouTube clip (Macmillan Spain), Level 5 Unit 4 (Vlog video, probably 2019).

I think there are no DVDs or DVD-ROMs, but digital packs only (teacher's resource center and pupil's ebook). Levels 1-2 just have animated stories. There's also an (Digital) Essential Workbook (Levels 3-6). 2nd edition I think in 2019. Some videos are Vlogs in "Heroe Connect". I found few samples.

Plot (short):  A six-level primary course for kids. Including videos called "Sketches", "Songs" and "Stories", letter one maybe animations only. My favourite scene is from Level 3 Unit 4 (sketches, pictured), official YouTube sample from Macmillan Polska. The boy called Tom also appeared at least in Level 1+2 (songs) in other clothes and also in a dark suit and tie (Level 3 unit 1 sketches). Also good outside in Level 3 unit 3.

There are DVDs (2011 and 2017 edition) at least still in Poland (levels 2+3), but I think this old course is not available anymore on the main site. For grades 1-3 (in Poland, maybe 1st English courses would be grade 5 elsewhere?). Most book and other DVD contents (at least early levels) are simple illustrations and animations. DVDs are region code 0. Teacher's packs are Multi ROM, probably DVD-ROM with more contents (worksheets, notes and for IWB interactive whiteboards). Oldest books are from Jan 2012. DVDs are obviously from 2011, maybe even film earlier. The 2011 (book) edition should differ greatly from 2012.

I found many official samples, not sure if that's complete. I also haven't checked book samples.

Songs should be on the CD-ROM but I don't know if video or audio only.

First published for Spain.

Plot (short):  A six-level primary course for kids. Including videos called "21 Channel" with 2 kids as hosts handsome Mark and Chloe (these kids in Level 3 and 4 only). Pic from Level 3 Unit 1. These are in the studio only (earlier levels also have younger kids with few interviews outside). The boy (missing one tooth) wore tan cotton pants, and dark blue and faded blue jeans (also sitting, best in Level 3 unit 1). And a gym suit (Level 3 unit 3) and a helmet (Level 4 unit 8).

Also other, very young kids shown in short documentaries. I think there are more digital contents (at least audio and songs), maybe videos as well (but probably less of interest). The other levels have other host kids (not that handsome).

There are 2 official samples from Macmillan Polska on YouTube (and other samples of New High Five! on Macmillan Spain). I considered buying a DVD, but there are only digital contents (app and/or codes in books). Luckily I found a playlist with Level 3 on an Asian school on YouTube (and that also has all clips of Level 4 after many clips of showing exercises teacher-pupil.)

There is also High Five! (~2014) and New High Five! (latter one showing same kids).

At least (also) used in Poland, Spain and Asia.

Plot (short):  A four-level American English secondary course for teenagers. Pic1 from an official book sample. Starter Level unit 1 (2nd edition) showing Jacob (probably on left) and Max. There's also a girl called Lucia. Pic 2 from an official clip showing Sam and Zoe (unknown level, probably level 1 (1st edition), there's also Teo).

There should be DVD and CD-ROMs and Split editions (4 units each) and "Plus" editions (Online skills ?) with audio and video as well. Also with interactive whiteboard contents (itools). I think a DVD is in fact a DVD-ROM. I've seen one with Starter and Level 1, obviously a DVD-ROM for students.

Books first released in 2010. 2nd edition (plus) 2015. Beginners to upper intermediate (latter one is level 3).

Episodes: unknown length , most clips probably very short ~2 minutes each?

Starter:

Unit 3+4: Washington DC

Level 1:

Unit 1+2: High School Music Club

Plus  edition:

Unit 1: Shelly
