Info: New post (not on my Wiki), I found that in a book. Based on 2 similar series (but in French by Didier/ CREDIF): "Bonjour Line" (1963) aimed at 8-13 yo and "Voix et images de France" (1961) for grown-ups. A book for Bonjour Line including filmstrips (b&w) can be found on archive.org. Later editions have illustrations in color. Similar English series were "First Things First" (1967) and "New Concept English"

First British series with the help of VCR.
