Plot: (short) Andy run away and lost his wallet with papers at the docks .

Video raster: 2 sequences. Andy can't find friends, Andy leaves home.

Sequence 1:

Scene 1: Martina and Andy in their rooms (2 minutes)

2 Andy talks to his mom in the kitchen (briefly)

3 Andy on his newspaper tour. (pictured) 2 min

4 Talk to boat owner Mr. Walker and son Ian, invitation to get on board (2 min)

5 Andy crashed with his bike into the dunes. English students mocking him a foreigner

6 Andy packs his suitcase

9, 11 Andy hitchhiked to Southampton, the driver  Mr. Fenton asked him why he run away.

Scene 3 is one of the key scenes of the whole series. Andy is homesick. And Mr. Chapman says: Home is where you make it!

Andy wishes a new bike, but they can't afford one. With that bike he crashed. Another key scene and reason to run away.

Mr Fenton knows German and was in Dortmund. They talked about Soccer.

Didactic parts/goals: Andy's reactions. Foreigner problem. No geography parts here.

However, in the working material, there's a German list of ferry connections around Dover including prices and travel duration.
