Plot (short): Documentaries about origins of those
holidays and how they are celebrated today (USA and GB). There are also
similar (related) documentaries from FWU like Thanksgiving - Pilgrims
and Turkeys (42 min), Christmas in the USA and England (134 min).
Obviously some episodes here are abridged. There's "Halloween - Roots and Images" (60 minutes)
and Halloween 29 min.. I think all in both English and German versions.
Of course, there are also lots of other documentaries from FWU, mainly
about Geography. Two interesting ones, I read for the 1st time are
"School Life in England" and "Teen Life in Britain". Infos and pics on
fwu-mediathek, but the (demo) clips don't work anymore.
Episodes: ~29 minutes each
-What is Halloween? (21 minutes)
-Thanksgiving - Roots and images (22 minutes) --An Old Story (14,2 Min.) 2. Thanksgiving Dinner (7,3 Min.)
-Christmas Images (29 minutes) --A Christmas Journey in England (14,1 Min.), 2. Santa Claus in Chicacogo (11 Min.), 3. Santa Rap (2,3 Min.)
