Plot (short): Unusual London travel guide (not about the attractions), documentary about living in London aka "Street life - London" 

Book is called: "Streetlife: Guidebook to the alternative London". Aired in Germany obviously in 1992 (5 episodes only). 

Hard to find with this title. I haven't found any clips of pics, not even of the book (although 90s). Aired in Sweden as "Street Life". Book publisher: Sveriges utbildningsradio. Co author: Ronnie Haydon. Photographs (stills):  Paul Chedlow. Aimed for teens travelling to London by train (Interrail). Book also includes maps, addresses, prices etc.

Most infos from worldcat. Presenters and confirmed year: BFI. Vas Blackwood might be wrong (Street Life was also a 1990 episode of 1986 TV series Casualty).

Plot (short): Obviously a documentary. German title: (Glasgow: Größte Stadt in Schottland). 14 minutes. German title: "Glasgow - Eine Stadt wird saniert" German version is for grades 8-10.

City development, renewal in the last 40 years. Main part is about Barlanark (East End). Commented by Betty Lindsay Calvay Cooperative).

 

There is also a film "Living in the City: Glasgow" by Linda Orr and a 1991 BBC (aired) film/series "Living in the City". Not sure if one or all are the same.

14 yo girl Jana and her brother living in capital Ljubliana. She likes collecting postcards. Her dad is a locomotive engine driver. They also visit their grandparents in Gorenjska.
As usual, a documentary about culture, work, history, spare time etc.

Plot (short): 5 documentaries about Great Britain. Mainly or only school lives, including Scotland and Wales. 

Ep 2: Mark (17 yo) and girl Dawn (14) and their little brother Dave living north from London. All going to school, episode showing their school day. (Plot found in Estonian newspaper).

Country Profiles: Iceland (A Midsummer's Journey)

 


Another one of the 10 episodes of this international ICEM production, this time 1996. 16 minutes. Produced by Namsgagnastofnun, The National Centre for Educational Materials Iceland. All 10 movies were also available on 10 CD-ROMS. For 5th grade.

The plot is about Kristin living in Westman Islands in the South of Iceland with her parents and younger sister.She collects bird's eggs and bringing them to her grandparents in capital  Reykjavik. But they had to change their route. So again showing the lanscapes, farm, snow, etc. Her age is not said, maybe ~11.

Plot (short): Another short geography course, this time just about Milwaukee and its German-American community. Mainly showing the festivals and parades including the German Fest. Also have interviews (probably grown-ups only). 

Alternate titles: Milwaukee, wie geht's? : A real German City in the U.S.A., Milwaukee, wie geht's? : deutsches Kulturerbe im Mittelwesten der USA. I haven't found any pics or clips. There are some clips on YouTube from "The Milwaukee County Historical Society" (who has the copyright) some scenes (or pics) are vintage but some are also later than 1990.
